2024 Triumph Tiger 900 Revealed

The 2024 Triumph Tiger 900 boasts an array of enhancements that make it a compelling offering in the adventure motorcycle segment. At the heart of the upgrades is a significant engine overhaul which has led to a notable power boost. The liquid-cooled 888cc inline-Triple engine, with its distinctive DOHC and 4 valves per cylinder, now delivers a power output of 107 hp, up from the previous 94 hp, marking a 13% increase. This upgrade also enriches the Tiger 900 with more torque and tractability at lower revs, making its power more accessible throughout the rev range.

The bodywork has also seen some refinements, projecting a more aggressive stance from its beak to the side panels. The new paint schemes and graphics add to this refreshed aesthetic, giving the Tiger 900 a modern and bold look. There are three models in the 2024 Tiger 900 range: the GT, GT Pro, and Rally Pro. Each model offers unique features and capabilities to cater to different rider preferences.

The GT Pro and Rally Pro models come with more premium features such as electronic suspension, heated grips and seats, a quickshifter, and a tyre pressure monitoring system. The GT Pro is priced at £13,895 while the Rally Pro is priced slightly higher at £14,495.

The Triumph Tiger 900 has not just evolved in power and looks, but also in terms of rider comfort and safety. The new models feature a new rider seat and a damped handlebar mounting system to enhance long-distance comfort. Additionally, the 2024 models come with new safety features including an emergency deceleration warning system, and optimized cornering ABS system to enhance stability under hard braking, reducing stopping distances significantly. Moreover, the optimized cornering traction control across all three models, along with the throttle-by-wire system, allows riders to tailor the level of assistance with four different standard ride modes: Road, Rain, Sport, and Off-Road. The GT Pro adds an extra Rider Programable mode, while the Rally Pro incorporates two additional modes, Off-Road Pro, which disables ABS and traction control completely.

In essence, the 2024 Triumph Tiger 900 range is a blend of increased power, refreshed aesthetics, and thoughtful feature enhancements, making it a well-rounded choice for motorcycle enthusiasts, especially those keen on adventure riding.
