New 2023 Nissan X TRAIL

Nissan’s most advanced SUV to date, the all-new Nissan X-TRAIL for Australia, is preparing for launch, with the family focused SUV to arrive with an all-new platform, advanced safety equipment and improved levels of all-road capability courtesy of a 4×4 system that offers up to five distinct drive modes.

Every bit as comfortable on the road as it is capable off it, the new X-TRAIL has been tailor-made for every adventure. Taller and wider than before, the new generation X-TRAIL’s styling adopts the Nissan V-Motion grille and a stylish “floating” roofline, with a raft of exterior design refinements to smooth aerodynamics and further reduce wind noise.

X-TRAIL’s new multi-mode all-wheel-drive system has driver-selectable Eco, Standard and Sport modes linked to five bespoke traction modes and algorithms to suit conditions such as bitumen, dirt, ice and snow, with Hill Descent Control for carefully modulated downhill off-road driving on 4WD models.

The new X-TRAIL adopts the latest CMF-C engineering platform. Towing capacity has increased by 500kg to 2 tonnes, while revisions to the 2.5 litre engine have delivered a 9kW lift in power, and a 19Nm increase in torque, to 135kW and 245Nm.
