Lamborghini Huracan Sterrato on the snow

The Huracán Sterrato has recently made its grand entrance at an exclusive ski resort nestled in the Italian Alps, where it showcased its unrivaled performance and dominance over snow and ice. In a striking display of versatility and adaptability, the Huracán Sterrato was able to switch effortlessly from road-driving modes to its specially-designed ‘rally’ option, allowing the permanent four-wheel drive system of the car to conquer the low-grip surfaces of the winter destination with impressive ease and finesse.

Thanks to the remarkable and advanced LDVI system (Lamborghini Integrated Vehicle Dynamics) of the Huracán Sterrato, the car can deliver a host of specially-calibrated STRADA and SPORT drive settings for the road, while the new RALLY mode is optimized for dirt and loose surfaces such as snow. This is another facet of the super sports car’s highly desirable and fun-to-drive personality. The wider tracks and increased ride height of the Huracán Sterrato ensured that it made short work of the snowy terrain, while its Bridgestone Dueler AT002 run-flat tyres, specifically adapted for the all-terrain Huracán and rated for its top speed of 260 km/h, ensured maximum performance in the wintery conditions. Additionally, the aluminum front underbody, reinforced sills, and rear diffuser, along with the enhanced wheel arches, provided excellent protection to the Sterrato from any icy obstacles, while also emphasizing its powerful muscularity in the challenging winter sports environment.

The car’s arresting and stylish appearance caught the attention of skiers and vacationers alike, as it gleamed in its ice-cool winter whites of Bianco Phanes, adorned with striking details in Grigio Telesto and black carbon fiber, including the reinforced wheel arches. Furthermore, future owners of the Huracán Sterrato can exercise their creativity and personalization preferences by choosing from a selection of 350 external colors and over 60 interior leather and Alcantara options through the Lamborghini Ad Personam personalization program.

The Huracán Sterrato boasts a mighty 5.2-liter V10 engine, delivering a maximum power output of 610 CV and 560 Nm of torque at 6,500 rpm, in combination with a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission and electronically controlled all-wheel drive with rear mechanical self-locking differential. The car is designed to offer optimum performance on loose surfaces and can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in an astonishing 3.4 seconds, while achieving a top speed of 260 km/h (160 mph).

Production of the 1,499 Huracán Sterrato super sports cars will commence this month, with deliveries set to begin in the early summer. It is worth noting that the vehicle is not yet available for sale and is thus not subject to Directive 1999/94/EC. The fuel consumption and emissions data are currently in the type of approval stage.
