2024 Hyundai Sonata Facelift Rendered

Anticipations are rising as the launch of the modernized edition of the popular Korean sedan approaches,.

The Korean automotive giant has once again opted for a complete overhaul of the 2024 Hyundai Sonata’s aesthetic, and this fact is corroborated by several spy photographs of camouflaged test samples. Furthermore, earlier this week, low-quality pictures revealing the unrestrained design of the Sonata surfaced online, providing a glimpse of the revamped appearance of the car.

Kolesa has once again rendered some photos predicting what the future sedan will look like.

As anticipated, the 2024 Hyundai Sonata is set to have a completely revised front end, incorporating a full-width horizontal marker light, previously seen on the second-generation Staria, Grandeur, and Kona models. Additionally, the primary headlight units will be situated a tad lower in the bumper. A substantial grille with a chrome molding at the bottom will also adorn the front of the car. While significant modifications are not expected on the sides, the rear section will feature noticeable updates, albeit more modest than the front. A broad insert equipped with lighting elements will be present on the trunk lid, while the external outlines of the lamps resemble those of the current model.

Although the technical specifications of the vehicle have not been officially disclosed, it is plausible that the Sonata will be equipped with the same engine range as the previous version. In its home market, this sedan is available with a naturally aspirated 2.0 petrol engine that generates 160 horsepower, a turbocharged 1.6-liter engine that can produce 180 horsepower, as well as a gas-powered 146-horsepower 2.0 LPI engine, and a hybrid system based on a two-liter gasoline engine.
