McLaren, the Americas have collaborated with creative storytelling production company, The Outbound Life, to produce a 60 second social media film celebrating the McLaren GT in the spirit of the holiday season.
The Outbound Life, a production company led by two brothers, Kody McCormick and Kyler McCormick, worked with their father Kevin McCormick, as Executive Producer, to capture the lifestyle and performance aspects of the McLaren GT in a unique and thrilling way.
“Being storytellers at heart, nothing excites us more than re-imagining what is possible and bringing a fresh perspective. We were very excited to partner with McLaren on this project because we knew we could produce a piece that would portray the GT in a new light. We wanted to create a gripping experience for the audience, one they’d remember.”
“We’re firm believers in balancing familiarity with novelty and wanted to use a score that was immediately recognizable, yet fresh and exciting. The Four Seasons: Winter, by Vivaldi, is among the most iconic classical music pieces in existence. We felt it would creatively articulate the essence of the GT and the McLaren brand. We collaborated with our friend, John Blasucci (music producer and creator of Luminare Music), to create an original, energy filled arrangement. His impressive discography includes collaborations with musicians such as Celine Dion, Dennis Deyoung, and Josh Groban. To perform violin for this project, Blasucci brought in Erica Carpenedo (Luminare band member and world touring violinist).”

The Outbound Life produced this piece in the Santa Barbara area, featuring the Sunstone Winery, where shows such as Star Trek Picard have been filmed.
