2025 Audi Q3 Rendered

The Audi Q3, now in its third and final generation with traditional combustion engines, has been spotted undergoing testing on the roads of Germany. It was quite surprising to see that this compact crossover appeared to have all its production body panels and final lights in place during testing. Our friends at Kolesa have taken note of these developments and have even created some renderings to give us an idea of what the new SUV might look like.

As we take a closer look at the 2025 Audi Q3, we can observe some interesting details. One noteworthy feature is the light bar that connects the taillights, with a strip positioned just above the license plate, and it seems to have a similar length as before. Moreover, a charging port is noticeable on the front fender of the driver’s side, suggesting that the test vehicle may be equipped with a plug-in hybrid powertrain.

The exhaust tip is discreetly tucked away under the bumper, hinting that this might be a lower trim level. The Singleframe grille, a distinctive design element in Audi’s lineup, appears slightly smaller now, with more plastic surrounding the area that separates the grille from the lower air intake. In essence, it appears that the Q3 will draw some design inspiration from Audi’s electric vehicles, particularly the Q4 E-Tron.

Both the Audi Q3 and its electric counterpart are set to be unveiled in 2024. It’s worth mentioning that the Q3 will likely become Audi’s entry-level crossover, as the Q2 is retiring after just one generation.

In summary, the Audi Q3 is undergoing significant changes as it enters its final generation with traditional engines. The test vehicle reveals intriguing design elements, such as the connecting light bar and the presence of a charging port, hinting at a potential plug-in hybrid version. With these updates, Audi is keeping its compact crossover lineup fresh and exciting for the future.
