The BMW M2 unleashes an awe-inspiring power of 453 horsepower and 406 pound-foot of torque, propelled by a twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter inline-six engine. This specific powerhouse is identical to the one that is standard in M3 and M4 models, but alas, its horsepower has been reduced by 20. The torque output, however, remains steadfast and strong.
BMW, as we all know, has been making significant strides in their electric car ambitions. And part of this ongoing quest is the XM – a plug-in hybrid M vehicle which is set to make history as the first of its kind. The powertrain in this electrifying beast combines a new 4.4-liter twin-turbocharged V-8 engine, capable of producing a whopping 644 horsepower and 590 pound-foot of torque, with an electric motor. BMW proudly announces that the XM can go from 0-60 mph in a mere 4.1 seconds.
