Since the proclamation of the Fifth Republic, the DS and SM, then DS 5 and DS 7 CROSSBACK have been used by seven presidents. During his investiture in 2017, Emmanuel Macron went down the avenue des Champs-Élysées aboard DS 7 PRESIDENTIAL CROSSBACK. In this new definition, DS 7 CROSSBACK ÉLYSÉE presents a 300 horsepower E-TENSE plug-in hybrid engine with an intelligent four-wheel drive transmission and an Ink Blue color.

To meet the specifications of the Presidency of the Republic, DS 7 CROSSBACK ÉLYSÉE is extended by 20 centimeters behind the central upright to become a work tool. Legroom reaches up to 545 millimeters.

The rear bench is replaced by two independent seats. Black Basalte leather takes up DS Automobiles’ signature watch strap, an armrest separates the two seats under an exclusive Alcantara® headliner. The layout of this working environment is completed by wireless and USB chargers, as well as an open central document holder.

DS 7 CROSSBACK ÉLYSÉE is distinguished by its blue / red flashing lights arranged on the front face, its removable flag holders, its “RF” badges on the front doors and “tricolors” on the front face and the trunk, as well as its rims 20 specific inches and an antenna for a telecommunications system dedicated to the Presidency of the Republic. The total length reaches 4.79 meters with a wheelbase up 20 centimeters to 2.94 meters. The width remains the same at 1.91 meters, as the height at 1.62 meters.

DS 7 CROSSBACK ÉLYSÉE will make its first appearance during the ceremonies commemorating the armistice of November 11, 1918 to mark its entry into the fleet of the Presidency of the French Republic.
