Compared to its predecessor, the new Cooper boasts a significantly simplified dashboard design, as illustrated in the provided comparison. The entry-level Cooper E model will feature a front-mounted electric motor with a power output of 181 horsepower, powered by a 40.7-kilowatt-hour battery. Preliminary estimates suggest an impressive range of approximately 186 miles in Europe’s WLTP test cycle. On the other hand, the Cooper SE variant will boast a 215-horsepower motor and a 54.2-kWh battery pack, capable of delivering an estimated range of 249 miles in the European evaluation.
Despite providing comprehensive insights into the interior, exterior, and powertrain details, Mini has remained tight-lipped regarding the official debut date for the new Cooper.
