Details of the Upcoming 2024 Kia EV9 Three Row SUV Possibly Revealed in Owner Survey

The Kia EV9, a three-row all-electric SUV, has been teased for a few years now, but a recent survey sent to current Kia Telluride owners may have revealed more information about the upcoming vehicle. According to the survey, the EV9 will have a range of around 300 miles in one configuration and will be built on the Electric Global Modular Platform shared with Hyundai and Kia. Additionally, the EV9 will have an optional three rows of seating for up to seven passengers.

The survey also mentioned two power configurations for the EV9. The first configuration is 200 horsepower and 250 lb. ft. of torque, with a starting price of $56,000 for 220 miles of range and $61,000 for 290 miles of range. The second configuration is 400 horsepower with either 380 or 480 lb. ft. of torque, with a starting price of $63,000 for 260 miles of range. The survey also listed different trim levels and features for the 400 horsepower models, such as towing capacity and wheel size.

All models listed in the survey also have an additional $4,800 fee for advanced driver assistance technology. A spokesperson for Kia confirmed that the survey was meant to gauge interest in future brand EVs, but plans for the EV9 are still in flux.
