In the busy world of American roads, Rivian’s R1S and R1T vehicles are getting a lot of attention. But now, Rivian is looking at something new – a smaller and cheaper SUV called the R2S. This is so more people can afford it and like it.

We don’t know all the details about the R2S yet, but we do know it will be a small SUV that’s good for adventures, just like the bigger ones. And guess what? It will start at only $40,000, which sounds pretty cool. We made some renders to show how it might look, but we’re not sure about everything inside the car yet.

The R2S will be a new kind of vehicle for Rivian, and we think it will be available to buy in 2026. Before that, we might get a peek at what it will look like and even a look at a pickup truck version called R2T in 2024.

We don’t have all the information about the different versions of the R2S yet, but we guess it might be a bit like the bigger R1S. One thing we know is that the R2S will cost less than the R1S. Rivian wants more people to know about their vehicles, so they’re making them more affordable.
