2025 Kia Carnival Rendered

The 2025 Kia Carnival is exhibiting a blend of style, functionality, and innovation, making it a noticeable contender in the minivan market. With a fresh design, it’s going through a mid-cycle revision where the headlights are redesigned, adopting a “T” shape, hinting at major changes despite being a mid-cycle refresh.

Our friends at Kolesa have rendered a few photos predicting what the new van will look like.

For a regular facelift, you’ll find that the overall look stays pretty much the same, though you might notice some changes if you take a closer look. We can’t recall ever seeing those two-tone wheels on this model before. At the back, the taillights follow suit with the tweaks made upfront, forming a “T” shape and connecting in the middle, thanks to a refreshed light bar. If you’ve got a keen eye, you’ll spot that the Kia logo no longer cuts through the light bar; they’ve shifted it down. The bumper has been given a little makeover too, but nothing particularly exciting. It’s worth remembering this is, after all, just a minivan.

According to several reports, Kia has big plans for the interior. They’re thinking of adding two 12-inch screens, a fancy new head-up display, some high-tech fingerprint recognition, and even seats that can give you a good massage, which they seem to have borrowed from the EV9 electric SUV. We’ve also heard rumors of a more advanced semi-autonomous driving system on the horizon, and it might even sport a hybrid powertrain, which could be taken from the Sorento. Over in the SUV department, they’ve got a turbocharged 1.6-liter gasoline engine teaming up with an electric motor to bring you a combined power output of 227 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque.

Keep your eyes peeled for the official debut, which should be happening in the next few weeks, possibly starting in South Korea before they roll out the equivalent U.S.-spec model.
