2024 Toyota GR Corolla Circuit Edition Blue Flame

The Toyota GR Corolla Circuit Edition emerged as a standout among its hot hatch counterparts upon its initial release. While the base Core model left much to be desired in terms of features, and the Morizo Edition, although well-equipped, proved to be both expensive and limited to a mere 200 units in the US. However, there is cause for celebration, as the GR Corolla Circuit Edition makes a comeback in 2024, bringing along a host of new features.

One cannot help but be captivated by the paint of this edition, as it adopts the captivating Blue Flame hue, reminiscent of the paint found on the GR86 and the base Corolla Hatchback for 2024. The fresh 18-inch BBS wheels are the same ones previously seen on the probably discontinued Morizo Edition. As for the body, notable enhancements include a forged carbon roof, a more sizable rear spoiler, and new black graphics adorning the rocker panels, extending gracefully to meet the stamped “GR-FOUR” emblem.

The interior upgrades, although more understated, exude an undeniable sense of style. The cabin is adorned with blue stitching, accentuating the door panels, steering wheel, gear lever, and seats. Additionally, a new blue stripe adorns the center of the shift knob, perfectly matching the Blue Flame exterior. In terms of technology, the eight-speed JBL premium audio system now comes as a standard inclusion.

Mechanically, no changes have been made, ensuring that the GR Corolla maintains its spirited performance. The Circuit Edition continues to rely on the same turbocharged 1.6-liter three-cylinder engine from the previous year, boasting an impressive output of 300 horsepower and 273 pound-feet of torque. This power is harnessed by a six-speed manual transmission, complemented by an adjustable all-wheel-drive system. The front and rear limited-slip differentials remain unchanged.

Although the exact pricing for the 2024 Toyota GR Corolla Circuit Edition is yet to be disclosed, it is expected to see a slight increase from its starting price of $36,995, which includes the $1,095 destination fee, as observed in last year’s model. Furthermore, those interested in acquiring this remarkable vehicle should act swiftly, as Toyota plans to manufacture only 1,600 units of the Corolla Circuit Edition this year.
