Drawing inspiration from the recent facelift bestowed upon the 2008 crossover, the Peugeot 208 has undergone a remarkable transformation, most notably sporting a freshly updated emblem featuring the iconic lion. The flagship GT trim level introduces a visually arresting three-claw motif, seamlessly extending into the full-LED headlights, forging a visually captivating link with the vertical bars seamlessly incorporated into the bumper. Furthermore, the grille has been overhauled, presenting a novel pattern and body-colored accents that harmoniously blend with the overall aesthetics of the front fascia.
Venturing into the cabin, the Peugeot 208 faithfully retains its modern and innovative i-Cockpit design, a feature highly lauded within its segment. Universal to all trim levels is a standard 10-inch touchscreen, ensuring a seamless and user-friendly infotainment experience. Stepping into the realm of electrification, the E-208 emerges as a formidable contender. This electrified variant boasts an electric motor capable of delivering 156 horsepower, underpinned by a 51-kilowatt-hour battery pack. Impressively, this configuration yields a remarkable WLTP combined cycle range of 249 miles or approximately 400 kilometers. The E-208 also supports rapid charging at speeds of up to 100 kilowatts, enabling a swift 20 to 80 percent charge in less than 25 minutes.
With the scheduled launch of the facelifted 208 in November, a new chapter unfolds for this immensely popular model. Since its introduction in late 2019, the Peugeot 208 has witnessed resounding success, amassing nearly one million units sold worldwide.
