Land Rover is reinvigorating the 2024 Defender lineup with an exclusive Outbound edition. This limited-production variant, offered solely as a 130 five-seater, boasts the power of P400 gasoline and D300 diesel Ingenium engines. The Outbound edition undergoes several aesthetic modifications, such as Shadow Atlas Matt accents for the bumpers and grille inserts, while Anthracite adorns the side vents. Two wheel options include 20-inch Gloss Black or 22-inch Shadow Atlas Matt.
Available in a palette of Fuji White, Santorini Black, Carpathian Grey, or Eiger Grey, the Defender Outbound offers interior choices of Windsor leather or Resist fabric. The cabin is dressed in Ebony, complemented by an Ebony Morzine headliner and a Robustec veneer. Additional features comprise rubber floor mats, a cargo net, and tie-down points for securing belongings.
In parallel, the formidable Defender V8 now accommodates eight passengers. This variant houses a supercharged 5.0-liter engine, generating an impressive 493 horsepower and 450 pound-feet of torque, enabling a 0-60 mph sprint in just 5.4 seconds. The V8 version complements the existing six-cylinder Ingenium P400 and D300 lineup.
The Defender 110 introduces the nostalgic County Exterior Pack, reminiscent of the classic Defender County. This package showcases vintage graphics along the vehicle’s flanks, illuminated front treadplates featuring a County emblem, and 20-inch wheels in two distinct finishes, including Gloss White. The new County-inspired Defender is offered in Fuji White, Santorini Black, or Tasman Blue, each with bespoke design highlights. In China, Land Rover extends the County Pack to the Defender 90.
For the American market, Land Rover confirms the arrival of the eight-seat Defender 130 V8, priced at $116,600. The 130 Outbound and 110 County Exterior Pack are also slated for release.
