2024 Kia Soul Pricing Announced

The year 2024 sees the Kia Soul maintaining its presence in the United States, mostly unchanged. While there’s a minor uptick in its price, this adjustment doesn’t alter the car’s core values of being affordable and practical. Additionally, a fresh styling package injects extra visual enhancements into the already distinctive appearance of this compact car.

Commencing with the updated pricing, the starting point for the 2024 Soul LX stands at $21,315, encompassing a $1,325 destination fee. This positions it $230 higher than its 2023 predecessor. The lineup of trims carries forward without alterations from the previous year. This implies that the Soul S model occupies a slot above the entry-level edition, tagged with a price of $23,815. Progressing further, the 2024 Soul GT-Line initiates at $24,915, while the range-topping 2024 Soul EX comes with a price tag of $25,615.

Novel for the 2024 model year arrives the EX Designer Package, a title donning a set of 18-inch alloy wheels and an interior featuring a blend of cloth and simulated leather seats. This package further includes the Umber Interior Color variant. Additionally, a new feature dubbed “sleep mode” debuts for 2024 Souls equipped with keyless entry and engine start. Activated 40 seconds post locking the vehicle, this mode thwarts potential hackers from replicating the smart key signal. This implementation comes in the wake of all 2022 Hyundai and Kia models being outfitted with an immobilizer to enhance security.

Across all trim levels chosen by buyers, the 2024 Soul relies on a consistent naturally-aspirated engine. This 2.0-liter four-cylinder powerplant yields 147 horsepower and 132 pound-feet of torque. Its collaboration with a continuously variable transmission ensures power distribution to the front wheels.

Noteworthy sales data from GoodCarBadCar indicates a modest performance for the Soul in the past year, with 56,740 units making their way to customers’ hands. The initial seven months of the ongoing year also exhibit a less optimistic trend, with 39,870 vehicles sold. In the year 2021, a total of 75,126 Souls found buyers, while the preceding year saw 71,772 units being sold.
