2023 Jeep Avenger is the brand’s first fully electric model

Introducing the Avenger, Jeep’s inaugural foray into the realm of pure electric vehicles, catering to the eco-conscious Jeep enthusiasts. However, the 2023 Jeep Avenger’s entirely electric iteration will not be available for purchase on American soil. This groundbreaking automobile made its grand entrance last October, boasting a singular motor that generates 154 horsepower and 181 pound-feet of torque. The front wheels are driven, but keep an eye out for a dual-motor Avenger in the pipeline as a prospective all-wheel-drive variant.

The Avenger’s energy source is a 54-kWh battery, which, under the WLTP cycle, delivers 249 miles of range. However, in the context of low-speed urban environments, this range may extend up to a remarkable 342 miles. Fast-charging is facilitated by a 100-kW connection, enabling a jump from 20 to 80 percent range in a swift 24 minutes.

Step inside the Avenger, and you’ll be greeted by a minimalist dashboard design, accentuated by a body-color panel seamlessly linking the front pillars and incorporating sleek air vents. The 10.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system is accompanied by either a 7.0- or 10.3-inch digital gauge cluster for the driver. A handy parcel shelf integrated into the dashboard offers a convenient spot to store small items. Additionally, the front section of the center console features an innovative foldable magnetic cover, safeguarding a wireless charging pad and a compartment capable of accommodating a 1.5-liter bottle. For those with larger storage needs, the rear cargo area can hold up to 13 cubic feet of items.

As for production, the 2023 Jeep Avenger will be assembled at Stellantis’s manufacturing facility in Tychy, Poland. Initially, the vehicle was scheduled to make its European showroom debut in the early months of this year.
