1000HP Fisker Ronin Super GT has a price tag of $385,000

In early August, an electric start-up in the automotive realm, Fisker Inc., made waves with the introduction of what they’ve eloquently named the Ronin Super GT. Imagine a “time-honored touring vehicle, reimagined for the modern era,” a marvel capable of whisking individuals from the bustling streets of Los Angeles to the serene landscapes of Napa Valley, all without the need for a pit stop to recharge.

Henrik Fisker, the visionary behind the company, boldly proclaimed this feat, a declaration that only a select few among Earth’s population will have the privilege to corroborate through personal experience. This is because the Ronin, as tantalizing as it sounds, is slated for production in highly limited quantities, and its price tag is set so astronomically high that it might set your head spinning.

As the global stage eagerly anticipates the festivities of the Monterey Car Week, Fisker chose this past Friday as the momentous occasion to unveil a remarkable detail – a mere 999 units of the Ronin will ever come into existence. These rare specimens are destined for the upper echelons of clientele, those fortunate enough to wield the financial means required to acquire this marvel, bearing a staggering price of $385,000 (just as a point of reference, cast your memory back to Fisker’s much-discussed creation, the Ocean, which boasts a comparably modest price tag of slightly under $70,000).

The proverbial doors to reservation are already swung wide open for the all-electric convertible sensation, a simple $2,000 deposit standing as your token of interest in securing one of these automotive gems. The only subsequent task entails a patient two-year wait, until Fisker deems the moment ripe to gather the remaining funds and deliver the long-awaited vehicular masterpiece to its new owner.

The Ronin is progressively unveiling itself as an engineering marvel of remarkable proportions. The heart of the matter lies in its battery, poised to bestow an impressive 600-mile (equivalent to 966 kilometers) range. Adding to the saga, the electric motor stands ready to channel over 1,000 horsepower, a force to be reckoned with. The pièce de résistance is the sprint from a stationary stance to the exhilarating speed of 60 mph, a feat expected to transpire in a breathtaking two seconds.

In comparison to many of its counterparts endowed with comparable capabilities, the Ronin comes bearing an array of features uncommon in its segment. Initial among these is its aptitude to comfortably house five occupants, a point already touched upon.

The vehicle’s structure comprises of four doors – the back pair adopting an enchanting butterfly configuration – which can be deftly controlled via a singular handle on either side. And lest we overlook, the Ronin is not stingy when it comes to storage space, both at the rear of the vehicle (even when the carbon fiber hardtop is retracted) and up front.

While autonomous technologies will undoubtedly find their home within its confines, Fisker has pledged that the Ronin’s essence will predominantly center around the pleasure of driving, hinting at an interactive and hands-on experience.

All eyes are set on the horizon of the second half of 2025, for that is when the curtain shall rise on the Ronin, permitting the world a glimpse into its promised wonders.
