The B95’s nomenclature holds significance, with “B” denoting barchetta and “95” honoring Pininfarina’s imminent 95th anniversary in 2025. Craftsmanship will commence in 2025, aligning with its delivery timeline.
Beneath its sleek exterior lies a quad-motor electric powertrain akin to the Battista’s, boasting 1,400 kW (1,877 hp) and 1,741 lb-ft of torque, propelling it from 0 to 60 mph in under 2 seconds. The liquid-cooled battery charges rapidly via 270 kW DC fast chargers, providing 25-minute 20-80% top-ups.
Five distinctive drive modes, employing Full Torque Vectoring technology, imbue the B95 with versatility. These modes – Calma, Pura, Energica, Furiosa, and Carattere – are effortlessly accessed through a steering-mounted rotary selector.
Design cues are an ode to Pininfarina’s Pura Vision concept. The B95’s aesthetics fuse classic racer elements with futuristic nuances, including a windshield-free design, enveloping bodywork, muscular wheel arches, and a luxurious two-seat cockpit.
