RML Short Wheelbase With Ferrari V12 Engine

The long-awaited day is approaching for RML’s Short Wheelbase team. After four years of meticulous planning, design, engineering, and testing, the very first production model is on the cusp of being delivered to its new owner. This monumental achievement will come to fruition within the next two weeks.

Bound for a new home in the US, RML Short Wheelbase number one will not go unnoticed. The car will receive a special preview, accompanied by RML’s CEO, Michael Mallock, during the prestigious Monterey Car Week in California (August 11-20). This event provides the perfect backdrop to unveil the first production Short Wheelbase, showcasing its elegance and performance in its natural habitat.

Crafted over nine months with utmost care, the inaugural vehicle exemplifies RML’s commitment to quality. Adorned with a striking triple-layer yellow and deep metallic blue exterior, the car’s aesthetic is truly captivating. Inside, satin chrome accents, blue Alcantara and leather trim, along with vibrant yellow stitching, create a tasteful and luxurious ambiance.

Michael Mallock praises the collaborative effort that has brought the first car to life: “Car One truly stands as a testament to the dedication and hard work of the entire RML team, from engineering to build. The leap in quality from our early prototype to the production model is astonishing. I am excited to showcase Car One in California.”

Each Short Wheelbase is a masterpiece of craftsmanship, meticulously hand-built with cutting-edge technology. Laser-cut precision ensures adherence to specifications, maintaining a remarkable standard of consistency. With a maximum tolerance of just 0.25mm, the manufacturing process guarantees exceptional quality.

Two years after its initial announcement, the RML Short Wheelbase remains a symbol of performance and luxury. Its lightweight carbon-composite body design pays homage to classic supercars while embracing modern comfort and convenience. Powered by a 5.5-liter Ferrari V12 engine producing 479bhp, coupled with a manual six-speed gearbox, the Short Wheelbase achieves remarkable acceleration, reaching 0-60mph in just 4.1 seconds and a top speed of 180mph.

As the first car embarks on its journey to the Monterey Car Week, anticipation builds for the forthcoming completion of the next production Short Wheelbases. RML’s commitment to excellence shines through as they prepare to build a total of 30 Short Wheelbase models, each a testament to the fusion of timeless design and modern performance.
