Volkswagen is set to unveil their latest electric vehicle the ID 7. Although the final production body is covered in “digital camouflage”, renderings from kolesa.ru offer a glimpse of what the ID 7 will look like. The ID 7 is built on the same modular electric drive matrix platform that is used throughout Volkswagen’s E V range, but it is larger than the compact ID 4. The ID 7 boasts a wheelbase of 116.9 inches and a total length of 194.5 inches, making it just over three inches longer than the Arteon. Volkswagen promises that the extra length will result in a spacious and upscale interior.
Currently, details such as battery size, power output, and price are not yet known. However, Volkswagen has stated that the ID 7 will have a range of 435 miles on the WLTP European cycle, which will likely be lower when using the EPA scale in the US. The ID 7 will be available for purchase in China, Europe, and North America.
