Our recent adventure brought us to Woodland Hills, California where we had the privilege of attending Supercar Sunday, featuring the esteemed Porsche Marque Day. The amazing event was a sight to behold, with a plethora of luxury cars on display, each fantastic in their own way. Among the all the amazing cars, our eyes were drawn to a magnificent specimen of engineering, a brand new 2023 Porsche 911 Sport Classic, in a lustrous light blue hue. The car was prominently exhibited by Porsche Woodland Hills, serving as the center piece of the show.
As a quick reminder, the Sport Classic is based on the Turbo S, albeit in rear wheel drive form. The manual gearbox, however, imposes certain limitations, necessitating a slight reduction in power and torque. The Sport Classic’s power stands at an impressive 543 horsepower and 442 pound-feet, marking a decrease of 29 horsepower and 111 pound-feet of torque. Nevertheless, the character of the 3.7-liter flat-six remains uncompromised, showcasing minimal lag and immense midrange muscle, which is sure to leave any driving enthusiast in awe.
