Mercedes-Benz has unveiled the long-awaited 2024 GLC Coupe, which has finally shed the remaining bits of camouflage to reveal its evolutionary styling changes. The new model is slightly larger than its predecessor and boasts a completely overhauled interior with a large portrait-oriented center touchscreen and a host of standard equipment. The GLC Coupe shares much of its new features with the standard GLC-Class, which debuted last year, but there are some differences that are worth noting.

The exterior of the new model features a refreshed lower fascia with slimmer headlights at the front and slimmer taillights with a revised rear fascia. Inside, the cockpit has undergone a dramatic makeover and now features a 12.3-inch driver display mounted floating-landscape style, with an 11.9-inch portrait-oriented center touchscreen in the middle. Powering the new GLC Coupe is the same turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine used in the standard GLC, which incorporates a 48-volt mild-hybrid system to produce an impressive 255 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque.

At launch, the only GLC Coupe available from Mercedes is the 300 4Matic with a standard-issue AMG Line package. This means that all coupes come with the nifty AMG star grille and ride on 19-inch wheels, with 20-inch wheels available as an option. The interior of the GLC Coupe comes with standard AMG Line features, including a leather-lined dash with a wide range of wood veneers for trim. A panoramic sunroof is also standard, and the tech department is well-catered for, with the AMG Line package including heated seats all around, Burmeister 3D surround sound, wireless phone charging, and the latest MBUX system.

Mercedes is keeping tight-lipped about pricing for the 2024 GLC Coupe, and it is unclear when the model will reach dealerships, beyond a release date set for later in 2023. Nonetheless, the car is set to be a game-changer in the SUV market and is sure to delight car enthusiasts everywhere with its impressive features and design.
