New 2024 Infiniti QX80 Luxury SUV Rendered

There are lots of spy photos lately capturing the New 2024 Infiniti QX80 and Kolesa took this opportunity tp render a few photos predicting what the new SUV will look like.

For those who appreciate the current QX80’s design, it appears that Infiniti will not be making drastic changes. The new SUV still maintains a boxy shape with slab sides and a tall greenhouse. Nevertheless, the headlights offer a peek at the QX80’s new face, featuring thin lights mounted up high with vertically-oriented lights mid-mounted in the front end. In the middle, a larger trapezoid grille sits above a pair of rectangular vents at the lower end of the fascia.

Infiniti has undeniably taken inspiration for the new design from its QX80 Monograph concept, which debuted in 2018. Design cues from the concept are clearly visible on the front of the prototype. While flush door handles are present, the taillights differ from the concept, reflecting the trend of lights becoming smaller over the past five years. Nevertheless, they are considerably thinner than those of both the current model and the QX80 Monograph. The rear fascia bears some resemblance to the concept, evident in the reflectors and body lines beneath the plastic coverings.

A closer look at the prototype reveals a thinner D-pillar that still incorporates the QX80’s angled rear glass. The fender vents remain intact and seem to be functional, with the camouflage cut to allow airflow through them. Other smaller design details are obscured by the camouflage, but it is apparent that internal combustion power is still in play. The grille is wide open, and exhaust pipes can be spotted tucked beneath the rear fascia. While powertrain details remain a mystery, it is expected that the new QX80 will feature a turbocharged V6 engine instead of the current 5.6-liter V8.

It is Nissan’s luxury branch, and Infiniti could reveal the new QX80 as early as later this year, debuting as a 2024 model. However, given Nissan’s tendency to move quickly on debuts once prototypes are seen in public, a 2025 debut is also a possibility.
