Lamborghini LB744 Aventador Successor Instrument Cluster With Seven Driving Modes

Lamborghini, the iconic Italian sports car maker, has revealed details about its latest high-performance hybrid super sports car, the LB744, just days before its premiere. The car is engineered to deliver an unmatched driving experience, confidence, and control in all grip conditions. It features a unique layout consisting of a 6.5-liter naturally aspirated V12 mid-engine, three electric motors, two of which are located on the front e-axle, and one integrated into the new 8-speed dual-clutch transmission. This arrangement, the first of its kind, results in a perfect balance that makes the LB744 extremely agile and effective both on the road and in the curves of a circuit.

The LB744’s design includes several innovative features that place it at the top of its class. These include its architecture and balance, the cutting-edge approach to the chassis and aerodynamic design, and the new hybrid powertrain, which allows for maximum electric motor support and the introduction of 13 different driving modes, including zero-emission 4WD.

One significant aspect of the car’s design is its unprecedented layout. For the first time, the electric motors are arranged transversely to the V12 and behind the combustion engine, with a new lithium-ion battery located in the space traditionally reserved for the gearbox. This new architecture allows for optimal weight distribution and brings the weight closer to the center of gravity, enhancing the LB744’s agility and effectiveness on the road and in the curves of a circuit.

The LB744’s capabilities are further enhanced by the increased stiffness of the anti-roll bars, the reduced steering ratio, and the four-wheel steering system, which contributes significantly to the sensation of a car that is agile, responsive and compact but at the same time stable and precise. The LB744 is the first Lamborghini to feature the new aviation-inspired monofusolage, an ultra-lightweight integral carbon fiber structure that combines high performance in energy absorption with increased torsional stiffness, making the car exceptionally stable and responsive.
