The Lamborghini Countach, a famous name in the world of speedy cars, makes a comeback with the 2022 model. This new model takes inspiration from the past but adds a modern touch. Although at its base, it shares a lot with another car model called the Aventador, there’s a unique touches that set it apart.

The 2022 Countach has been crafted to look like the old favorite but with a fresh style. Some of the old features like the pop-up headlights and the big rear wing are missing. However, it still has the cool hexagonal wheel arches and the fancy scissor doors that open upwards instead of outwards, which the old Countach was known for.

What sets the 2022 model apart from the old one is what’s under the hood. Unlike the old Countach that ran only on gas, the new model has a small electric motor powered by a supercapacitor, paired with a powerful V-12 engine sitting in the middle of the car. Together, they pack a punch with 802 horsepower, which means this car is really fast. Lamborghini says this car can go from zero to 62 mph in just 2.8 seconds, with a top speed of 221 mph.

Before anyone gets too excited and calls their bank to buy this car, there’s a bit of a bummer. All 112 cars that were made have already been sold. This shows that the love for the Lamborghini Countach, old or new, is still very much alive among car enthusiasts, showing off a classy blend of the past and the present.
