This marks the second instance where Alfa Romeo has embraced a fully tailor-made coachbuilt body, following in the footsteps of last year’s bespoke creation, the Giulia SWB Zagato.

In contrast to its ancestral counterpart, the contemporary rendition of the 33 Stradale will be relatively more accessible, as Alfa Romeo envisions the production of 33 units. These were all swiftly claimed in the aftermath of the 2022 Italian Formula 1 Grand Prix, staged at Monza on September 11. Prospective buyers were granted an exclusive preview, resulting in a full allocation in a matter of weeks. A distinctive facet emerges as each unit will emerge as an unparalleled masterpiece, a singular creation fashioned by a dedicated team.

A profusion of customization avenues awaits potential owners, inclusive of a personally selected eight-digit VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) imprinted on the center tunnel. Featuring butterfly doors, this premium Alfa Romeo integrates a carbon fiber monocoque harmoniously paired with an aluminum H-frame, topped by a roof fashioned from a fusion of these two materials. The window frames embrace carbon fiber construction, while the rear glass yields to a polycarbonate replacement.

The interior domain offers two distinct themes: Tributo and Alfa Corse. While the former reveres the timeless essence of the classic automobile, the latter takes on a more athletic demeanor. The cockpit-inspired cabin showcases aluminum shift paddles adorning a steering wheel deliberately devoid of extraneous controls – an embodiment of Alfa Romeo’s dedication to fostering an unadulterated driving experience. Although the identical power output might evoke thoughts of Maserati’s Nettuno engine, it is crucial to clarify that this is an evolutionary iteration of the twin-turbo 2.9-liter V6 found within the Giulia and Stelvio Quadrifoglio models.

This internal combustion engine collaborates with an eight-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission from ZF, distinguishing it from the MC20 that incorporates an eight-speed DCT sourced from Tremec.
