2024 Toyota YARIS Revealed

Toyota Motor Thailand has recently unveiled a fresh facelift for their Toyota Yaris, bringing with it a range of notable design changes. The Yaris now features an upgraded 1.2-litre NA four-cylinder engine that produces a substantial 92 PS and 109 Nm of torque. This is paired with a Super CVT-i transmission, which is expected to offer better fuel efficiency.

The Yaris has undergone some significant styling changes as well. The front end of the car boasts a more striking appearance, drawing inspiration from the hammerhead design that Toyota has recently become fond of. The front bumper of the car is now much more aggressive, with sharp angles and lines that highlight the wide lower apron. The lower apron also features a combination of functional and faux intakes that add to the car’s overall aesthetic.

Interestingly, the facelifted Yaris has caused speculation that Toyota may not be releasing an all-new model built on the Daihatsu New Global Architecture any time soon. The latest Vios, which is set to go on sale in Malaysia, has already made the shift to DNGA. This information suggests that the Yaris may continue with its current design for the foreseeable future.

What do you think of the Yaris’ new look? Do you believe Toyota will continue with this design for future models? We would love to hear your thoughts in the comments section below.
