2024 Peugeot E 3008 Electric SUV Exterior Revealed Before September 12 Full Debut

Peugeot’s eagerly anticipated next-generation 3008 is set to make a grand entrance, bringing with it the introduction of the all-new all-electric E-3008 variant. Scheduled for its full debut on September 12, this automotive revelation promises a captivating array of highlights that will undoubtedly leave car enthusiasts buzzing with excitement.

Aesthetically, the E-3008 casts aside its camouflage to reveal a modern and sophisticated Peugeot design language. Slimline headlights, perched high on the vehicle’s facade, exude a sense of elegance, with daytime running lights elegantly slicing through the underlying bodywork. Flanking the crossover’s unique grille design, featuring the iconic Peugeot badge, this vehicle is a visual masterpiece.

Turning heads from the rear, the E-3008 showcases an angular profile, distinguished by a substantial bumper beneath a slender, full-width taillight element. The sheet metal’s unique creases, extending gracefully from the bumper to the liftgate glass, add an artistic touch, creating a dynamic and discernible exterior.

Inside, Peugeot raises the bar with the introduction of the Panoramic i-Cockpit, a 21-inch curved display that hovers above a dashboard reminiscent of finely woven fabric. This innovative feature represents a paradigm shift in cabin design, promising a future that is both stylish and technologically advanced.

The interior also boasts thoughtful design elements, such as the integrated gear selector, positioned conveniently on the instrument panel. Flanked by a row of 10 configurable, touch-sensitive i-Toggles, it enhances user-friendly functionality. The central console, with its unique motif of buttons, establishes a visually pleasing connection to the dashboard. Two cup holders and a wireless charging pad on the passenger’s side complete the interior’s functionality.

Under the hood, the all-electric E-3008 remains somewhat of a mystery, but parallels can be drawn to the electric version of the 308. Expect three electric powertrain options, including a high-powered EV variant with dual-motor all-wheel drive capabilities. Peugeot also offers a mild-hybrid powertrain, pairing a 1.2-liter gasoline engine with electric assistance, delivering a combined output of 134 horsepower and 170 pound-feet of torque. An exciting addition is the six-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, housing the electric motor and inverter, augmenting performance. A plug-in hybrid version may also be in the cards.

Mark your calendars for the E-3008’s debut in France, a pivotal moment in the evolution of Peugeot’s automotive prowess. As the automotive world eagerly awaits, this vehicle promises to redefine the standards of innovation and design, setting a new benchmark in the realm of modern automobiles.
