The 2024 Lamborghini Revuelto and 2028 Lamborghini Lanzador were showcased at the Geneva International Motor Show Qatar (GIMS Qatar) 2023, which took place from October 5-14, 2023. Lamborghini confirmed its participation in this event, marking a significant move as the brand had previously withdrawn from large-profile motor shows since 2020. Instead, they aimed to foster intimate customer interactions through smaller, private events, but decided to attend GIMS Qatar 2023 to connect with current and potential customers, especially considering the importance of the Middle East market.
The Lamborghini Revuelto, known as the brand’s first plug-in hybrid model, was unveiled just before Lamborghini’s 60th anniversary, setting a new benchmark in performance, on-board technology, and driving pleasure as a High Performance Electrified Vehicle (HPEV) hybrid super sports car. It boasts a brand new naturally aspirated V12 along with 3 electric motors, collectively delivering a whopping 1015 horsepower.
On the other hand, the 2028 Lamborghini Lanzador was also in the spotlight, being a completely electric supercar model. This model showcases the brand’s commitment to sustainability without compromising on performance. Lanzador is equipped with a new generation of electric powertrain technology, ensuring a riveting performance that matches Lamborghini’s iconic speed and agility standards. It also features an innovative design that embraces aerodynamic efficiency and futuristic aesthetics, along with a minimalist yet luxurious interior that ensures a thrilling yet comfortable driving experience.
Both models were part of Lamborghini’s grand showcase at GIMS Qatar 2023, reflecting the brand’s forward-thinking approach towards embracing electrification and sustainability, while retaining the high-performance, luxury, and cutting-edge design that Lamborghini is renowned for.
