2024 Hyundai Santa Fe Revealed With NEW Styling

The numerous secret photographs that we have shared throughout the past few months have proven to be truthful – the brand-new Hyundai Santa Fe marks a complete departure from its predecessor. Embarking on its fifth generation, this midsize SUV embraces a refreshing and unconventional boxy design, accompanied by funky lights sporting an “H” motif. With a more robust and rugged appearance, the fully revamped model showcases the addition of 21-inch alloy wheels, wrapped in 245/45 R21 tires, all of which find their place within square-shaped wheel arches. Moreover, the vehicle boasts an enormous tailgate that matches the width of the SUV itself.

The taillights are positioned noticeably lower and exhibit the same “H” theme, while the tailgate proudly displays the Hyundai logo and oversized lettering that spells out “Santa Fe.” Although Hyundai has refrained from disclosing any specific technical details at this point, they have confirmed that the wheelbase has been extended. As a reminder, the previous Santa Fe, which is now considered outdated, spans a distance of 108.9 inches (equivalent to 2765 millimeters) between the axles. The South Korean automaker openly acknowledges having adopted an “unconventional approach” with this captivating redesign, aiming to provide the SUV with a rejuvenated appearance and maximize the interior space it offers.

When viewed from the side, the 2024 Santa Fe evokes a sense similar to that of the Defender 130. This model has undergone significant changes on the inside as well. It now proudly showcases a modern curved dual-screen setup, following the trend set by the latest models. True to Hyundai’s signature style, separate controls for the climate settings are still present. In a delightful blend of the past and the present, you’ll find a combination of conventional buttons and knobs alongside capacitive-touch keys.

The generous amount of space between the front seats immediately communicates that this is a wide vehicle. In fact, it provides ample room for the inclusion of two side-by-side wireless charging pads. Additionally, we observe a continuous air vent stretching from one side of the dashboard to the other, becoming a notable design element. To contribute to sustainability efforts, recycled plastic has been utilized in the creation of the floor mats, headliner, and even the backrest of the fully foldable second- and third-row seats. Furthermore, the interior features leatherette, an eco-friendly material that adorns the door cards.
