2024 Chevrolet Camaro Gains Panther Themed Collector’s Edition

Throughout the passage of time, the Camaro has showcased a wide array of distinctive variations that spanned from captivating options such as the 50th Anniversary and Wild Cherry Design Package to more daring alternatives like the Shock and Steel and Redline Edition. As the sixth-generation Camaro bids farewell at the culmination of the 2024 model year, Chevrolet intends to honor the car’s legacy of agility and style by introducing a final special Collector’s Edition, available on the LT/RS, LT1, SS, and ZL1 trims exclusively in North America.

The 2024 Camaro Collector’s Edition pays homage to the roots that extend back to the inception of the first-generation Camaro. “Panther,” the original code name for the program that eventually transformed into the Camaro during the 1960s, has served as an influential source of inspiration for the endeavors of the Chevrolet Performance Design Studio, seeking to firmly establish the sixth generation of the vehicle within the annals of history.

The Collector’s Edition enriches the LT/RS, LT1, and SS trims with a fresh Panther Black Metallic Tintcoat paint, accompanied by Satin Black accent stripes, 20-inch Satin Black wheels (or optional Polished Forged Wheels), the front splitter derived from the 1LE package, and coupes are furnished with the rear spoiler from the ZL1 package.

As for the limited-production 650-horsepower ZL1 Collector’s Edition, powered by the LT4 engine, only 350 units will be manufactured. It will flaunt a Panther Black Matte exterior color – the first-ever matte paint finish offered on a factory-built Camaro. Additionally, the ZL1 model will showcase the front splitter from the ZL1 1LE and the rear wing from the ZL1 1LE on coupes. The exterior aesthetics will be further enhanced by the inclusion of the Black Metallic ZL1 stripe, red brake calipers, and black lug nuts. Within the interior, all 350 Collector’s Edition ZL1 vehicles will bear a serialized steering wheel badge, signifying the specific position in the production sequence.

Across the entire lineup of Camaro Collector’s Edition builds, one can find distinctive front fender script badging that seamlessly incorporates a panther into the letter “R,” as well as a panther emblem adorning the steering wheel badge. These Camaro models also boast exclusive floor mats embellished with a laser-etched aluminum Collector’s Edition logo and unique black interior treatments.

Purchasers of the Camaro Collector’s Edition will be rewarded with a welcome kit containing two posters that commemorate the various generations of Camaro and the Collector’s Edition itself.

Owners of the Camaro ZL1 Collector’s Edition will additionally receive a custom-made Canfield Sport 45mm watch from Shinola, serving as a tribute to the Collector’s Edition. This elegant timepiece will bear an engraved serial number that matches the number displayed on the vehicle’s steering wheel badge. Meticulously crafted to reflect the same dark and sophisticated presence as the 2024 Camaro Collector’s Edition, this wearable memento will feature intricate Camaro and panther motifs, from the panther-engraved watch band to the Camaro logo elegantly positioned on the watch face.

The 2024 Chevrolet Camaro will be made available in both coupe and convertible body styles, offered in LT, LT1, SS, and ZL1 trims, with the 1LE option remaining accessible for the SS and ZL1 variants. Powering the 2024 Camaro lineup will be a selection of engines, including the 3.6L V-6, 6.2L LT1 V-8, and the supercharged 6.2L LT4 V-8

. Additionally, prospective buyers can opt for the newly introduced exterior color choices of Riptide Blue and Nitro Metallic Yellow across all trims.

Starting June 15, Chevrolet dealerships will begin accepting orders for the 2024 Chevrolet Camaro, with the LT coupe carrying a starting MSRP of $32,495 and the LT convertible priced at $38,495.
