2022 Fiat Nova Strada Ranch Pickup Truck

With the pioneering history of the model not only the leader in its segment, but in the Brazilian automotive market in 2021, Fiat innovates once again with the Nova Strada, icon in versatility, quality, reliability and robustness, by completing the 2022 line offer of the pickup with the unprecedented automatic transmission CVT.

The option for the automatic transmission was a desire of the Nova Strada consumers, who were won over by its modern design, technology and interior space of the four-door double cabin, as well as the wide bed of the pickup.

The CVT automatic transmission is associated with the advanced 1.3 Firefly engine with up to 107 hp of power with seven simulated speeds.

The CVT transmission offers three driving modes. In automatic mode, the electronic control unit constantly reads how the driver is driving and the vehicle’s situation to always adjust the best gear with a focus on consumption. Those who prefer to always be in command can opt for the manual mode, which allows changing the seven gears in a sequential way by means of butterflies on the steering wheel or by the gearshift lever itself. The Sport mode is aimed at those looking for a more fun and agile driving. In it, the Strada electronics center promotes a series of adjustments to make the vehicle even more responsive. The throttle is more sensitive, the electric steering assistance is stiffened, and the CVT gearbox adopts shorter gear ratios.

The Nova Strada with automatic transmission maintains the wide range of equipment that has won over consumers since the arrival of its second generation. Stability Control with Hill Holder Assist adds even more safety and comfort with the automatic transmission, while the advanced E-Locker Traction Control (TC+) allows the model to go further, making constant adjustments to ensure the maximum traction even on slippery surfaces at up to 65 km/h.

The truck’s capacity and robustness can be verified by its free height from the ground between the axles (up to 233 mm), entry angles above 23º and exit from obstacles beyond 28º among the best in the category, in addition to having the suspension omega type rigid shaft rear.

The four standard airbags of the Nova Strada Automatic include side pouches that protect the occupants’ chest and head simultaneously, adding additional protection in different types of collisions. Sound sensors and a reversing camera with dynamic lines that facilitate maneuvers, fog lights and a sensor monitoring tire pressure are also standard.

The extensive list of equipment also includes electrically assisted steering, on-board computer, power windows on all four doors, multifunctional steering wheel, electric mirrors and 3.5” TFT frame.

The technology is also present in the Nova Strada with automatic transmission. In addition to the 7” multimedia system – the only one in the segment to offer connectivity with Android Auto and Apple Carplay without cables – the model now offers Wireless Charger, for wireless charging of the smartphone. A second USB connector allows rear-seat passengers to charge their mobile device while taking advantage of ample space and easy access thanks to the 80° opening rear doors. The rear side seats also have an Isofix attachment for car seats.

The bucket is 844 liters in volume and can carry up to 600 kg. Lightweight, the rear cover has a spring system to facilitate opening and closing, and can support up to 400 kg. Four lower and upper hooks facilitate the attachment of the most different types of cargo, and the customer can even increase the bucket with different accessories from the Mopar line.

Cost-effectiveness has always been standard at Strada and continues in the new CVT version. The gearbox oil is designed to last for life , that is, there is no provision for changing the fluid throughout the vehicle’s lifetime. This unique feature of the segment meets the well-known robustness and efficiency of the 1.3 Firefly engine, which generates 107 hp and 13.7 kgfm with ethanol and 98 hp and 13.2 kgfm when fueled with gasoline. It is the most efficient and economical propellant in the segment and has an A consumption rating by Inmetro.

The set gives the Nova Strada Automática CVT a competitive cost of ownership, with a three-year warranty and assistance from an extensive network of 520 dealers nationwide.

The Nova Strada Volcano with automatic transmission has a public price of R$ 111,990 and the top-of-the-range Ranch version for R$ 116,990
