Porsche 911 S/T and 718 Spyder RS in GT Silver Metallic

The Porsche 911 S/T and the Porsche 718 Spyder RS are both high-performance sports cars that embody the racing heritage of the Porsche brand.

The 2024 Porsche 911 S/T is a limited edition model, celebrating the 60-year anniversary of the 911. It boasts a 518-hp engine taken from the GT3 RS, and it’s designed to combine the performance capabilities of a GT3 with the body of a GT3 Touring, all linked to a manual transmission. This car accelerates from 0-100 km/h in just 3.7 seconds and can reach a top speed of 300 km/h. With its lightweight clutch, shortened constant axle ratio, and a maximum engine speed of 9,000 rpm, the 911 S/T is the lightest 911 of the 992 generation. An optional ‘60 Years of the 911’ Heritage Design Package is also available.

On the other hand, the 2024 Porsche 718 Spyder RS is a spectacular open-air driving machine, sharing the 4.0-liter six-cylinder engine from the 911 GT3 and 718 Cayman GT4 RS, delivering 493 horsepower and 331 pound-feet of torque. It can rocket from 0 to 60 mph in just 3.2 seconds, with a top speed of 191 mph. It features a mid-engine, rear-wheel-drive layout, and is described as a vehicle that turns Rennsport’s focus to the street. The 718 Spyder RS also shares the air intakes mounted in the same position as the Cayman GT4 RS, and has sideblades on the outer ends of the bumper to increase downforce. It’s also been highlighted that the exceptionally light and pure soft top of the 718 Spyder RS makes the engine sound even more compelling.

The GT Silver Metallic color is a classic and iconic paint option for Porsche vehicles, known for its ability to highlight the designs of Porsche models beautifully. It’s been a long-running paint code for Porsche, and for good reason: it’s hard to find any Porsche that doesn’t look stunning in it. This color has been available on a wide range of Porsche models over the years, including various iterations of the 911, the 918 Spyder, the Boxster and Cayman models, and the Panamera. The color codes for GT Silver Metallic are M7Z and U2.

Each of these elements—whether the specific models of Porsche or the GT Silver Metallic paint—showcases Porsche’s dedication to performance and aesthetic appeal, continuing a legacy that’s as much about the driving experience as it is about the joy of ownership.
