NEW 2024 Range Rover Evoque Revealed

The 2024 Range Rover Evoque may initially appear quite similar to its 2023 predecessor, but don’t be fooled by its familiar exterior. While this facelift may be considered modest, significant changes have been made to both the design and interior comfort of this luxurious SUV.

Let’s begin by examining the visual alterations, particularly at the front grille. Instead of the previous irregular hexagons, a new mesh-style pattern has been introduced, featuring slender rectangular shapes. Flanking the grille are headlights that, at first glance, may seem unchanged. However, the real innovation lies within. These headlights now boast Pixel 1 LED technology, which incorporates three times as many LEDs as before. Moreover, each light comprises four pixel modules with individually controlled LEDs, allowing for the projection of varying degrees of light in different directions. In Europe, these advanced lights come as standard on the Dynamic HSE and Autobiography trims.

In addition to the grille and lighting enhancements, the 2024 Evoque introduces fresh wheel designs, available in sizes up to 21 inches in diameter. A selection of new exterior colors, including Tribeca Blue, Corinthian Bronze, and Arroios Grey, has also been added. These changes conclude the visual updates on the exterior, emphasizing the subtle nature of this facelift.

Inside the cabin, there are further notable improvements. The driver and front-seat passenger will immediately notice the introduction of a new landscape-oriented center touchscreen, measuring 11.4 inches. However, this display is not simply integrated into the dashboard but rather mounted separately in a floating manner. It is positioned above a redesigned center console that eliminates physical controls, with the exception of a revamped shift stalk. This design approach creates an atmosphere of sleek minimalism, as many vehicle functions are now accessible via the steering wheel or the touchscreen.

Continuing with the technological advancements, the 2024 Range Rover Evoque boasts the latest iteration of the Pivi Pro infotainment system, known as Pivi Pro 2. This system supports wireless connectivity with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and it integrates Amazon Alexa 10 for convenient voice control. Notably, the Evoque incorporates a highly sophisticated camera system, which Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) claims to be among the most advanced in its class. The array of cameras includes a 3D surround camera, a ClearSight ground view camera, and an interior rearview camera. Furthermore, JLR asserts that the Evoque’s Cabin Air Purification Plus system is one of the finest available, a first for this model.

In Europe, customers can choose from a range of trims for the 2024 Evoque, including S, Dynamic SE, Dynamic HSE, and Autobiography. Powertrain options consist of a 1.5-liter three-cylinder mild-hybrid gasoline engine producing 160 horsepower, or 309 horsepower when coupled with the plug-in hybrid system. Alternatively, a 2.0-liter mild-hybrid engine generates 249 horsepower when fueled by gasoline, or either 163 or 204 horsepower when powered by diesel.

The pricing for the 2024 Range Rover Evoque commences at 49,800 euros. More detailed information concerning the North American market, including engine choices, equipment options, and pricing specifics, will be disclosed in the near future.
