Elon Musk Twitter has officially changed its logo to X

In the really early hours of one Monday, Elon Musk, the big boss of Twitter, decided to change the famous blue bird logo of the social media platform. In place of the bird, there is now a simple black-and-white “X.” He showed this new “X” to everyone on the day before.

When the sun came up on Monday, people could see this new “X” not only on Twitter online but also on the outside of Twitter’s main office building in San Francisco. Twitter’s official account also changed its name to “X.”

Musk posted a picture of the outside of the Twitter building with the new “X” on it and wrote, “Our headquarters tonight.”

Before this, Musk had already changed the company’s name from “Twitter Inc.” to “X Corp.”

Since Musk bought Twitter in October 2022, he had plans to change the logo and the name of the company. He said he wanted to change Twitter into “X, the everything app.”

Over the last weekend, Musk made it clear that he wanted to get rid of the light blue color on Twitter and make everything black-and-white. He also wanted to get rid of all the bird symbols and images on the platform.

He tweeted just after midnight on Sunday, “And soon we shall bid adieu to the Twitter brand and, gradually, all the birds.”

As the weekend went on, Musk showed everyone the temporary “X” logo online.

The change of the logo is one of many changes Musk has made since he took over Twitter. He has promoted Twitter’s monthly paid service, made it possible for tweets to be longer, improved video quality, and took away the verification mark for most users who don’t pay. He also added job postings for businesses and made other changes.
