BMW Group Technology Office USA Celebrates 25 Years in Silicon Valley

The BMW Group Technology Office USA is marking its 25th year in Silicon Valley. This milestone is being celebrated with a special event at Levi’s Stadium, open only to invited guests. The event promises an array of activities including interactive workshops, showcases of cutting-edge technology, and unique driving experiences that blend reality and technology.

A key highlight of the celebration is the first showing in North America of BMW’s Vision Neue Klasse design concept. Additionally, there will be a panel discussion titled “Humanizing Technology.” This discussion will feature insights from Frank Weber, a member of the BMW Group Board of Management for Development. Joining him will be Poppy Crum, a futurist, neuroscientist, and technologist; Naba Banerjee, who leads Trust & Safety at Airbnb; and Micah Collins, the Head of Product at Meta for Work. Technology specialist David Pogue will moderate the panel.

The BMW Group Technology Office USA is not just a place for celebration; it’s a hub for research and development. Here, the focus is on groundbreaking technologies, user-centric designs, and future visions for BMW Group products. The team, comprising creative minds, visionaries, and engineers, dedicates itself to exploring new possibilities and pushing boundaries to offer the best and most innovative experiences to BMW customers.

For the first time, the BMW Group Technology Office USA is opening its doors beyond its usual circle. Media representatives, stakeholders, industry leaders, and partners are invited to get a behind-the-scenes look at the facility. This open house will provide an opportunity to see a range of projects – past, present, and those planned for the future.
