Porsche is celebrating the 50th anniversary of its iconic 911 Turbo with the unveiling of the 911 Turbo 50 Years edition at Monterey Car Week. This special edition pays tribute to the original 930 model that was first introduced at the Paris Motor Show in 1974. Based on the current 911 Turbo S, the 50 Years edition features design elements that harken back to the earliest 911 Turbo models. The white Porsche script on the door references the Turbo RSR concept from 1973, while the tartan interior trim nods to the first production 911 Turbo road car from 1974. The exterior and interior also showcase unique accents in Porsche’s exclusive “Turbonite” color and anthracite gray trim pieces. For those seeking additional nostalgia, a Heritage Design Package is available, adding racing numbers and more tartan. Limited to 1,974 units, the 911 Turbo 50 Years edition has a starting price of $263,095.
