Unlike some rumors suggest, the Mustang GTD doesn’t feature an engine in the middle. Instead, it houses a powerful 5.2-liter V8 engine at the front. While the exact horsepower output hasn’t been officially announced, Ford is aiming for over 800 horsepower, which would make it the most powerful Mustang ever produced. The engine can rev beyond 7,500 rpm and comes with a titanium exhaust system that includes active valves.
