Porsche has introduced the 2024 Cayenne Turbo E-Hybrid, a brand-new model that inherits its design cues from the recent SUV makeover. This version takes the title of Porsche’s most potent Cayenne model, surpassing its predecessor, the former Turbo variant.

Under the hood of this fresh Porsche offering, which comes in both SUV and Coupe versions, you’ll find a robust twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V8 engine. This powerful engine produces an impressive 591 horsepower and works in harmony with a lively 174-hp electric motor. When you combine these figures, you get a total of 729 hp and a substantial 700 pound-feet of torque. Thanks to this dynamic duo, the Cayenne Turbo E-Hybrid can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in just 3.5 seconds and reach a top speed of 183 mph for those who crave speed.

One of the standout features of the Cayenne Turbo E-Hybrid is its larger 25.9-kilowatt-hour battery pack, cleverly tucked away beneath the cargo compartment. Porsche boasts an 11-kilowatt on-board charger, paired with a potent power source, which can recharge the battery in a speedy 2.5 hours. Although Porsche hasn’t yet revealed the exact numbers for the improved electric range, this enhanced battery system is a notable addition.

Opting for the Coupe variant will cost a bit more, with a starting price of $153,050.

For those looking for a more budget-friendly option, the entry-level Cayenne remains faithful to its turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 engine, delivering a respectable 348 hp and 368 lb-ft of torque. With a starting price of $80,850, it’s a more affordable choice. In comparison, the Cayenne Coupe Turbo GT, with its 650-hp power, demands a heftier sum of $197,950.
