2024 Mercedes Benz E Class All Terrain Rendered

Mercedes is in the process of developing a fresh iteration of the E-Class All-Terrain Wagon, promising a sleek design coupled with a spacious cargo hold. The version set for the U.S. market is expected to feature a raised suspension, catering to the country’s diverse terrain.

The previous model of the Mercedes-Benz E-Class wagon proved its worth with a generous 22.6 cubic feet of cargo space, making it one of the most practical vehicles available. The baton has now been passed to its successor, currently in the pipeline. Renderings by Kolesa provides a potential first look at this upcoming vehicle.

It’s crucial to note, however, that this representation is speculative, as Mercedes has yet to disclose details about the new E-Class wagon. Spy photos suggest that the wagon will avoid an overly sloped roofline that could compromise cargo space. Whether the new model will expand its cargo capacity is yet to be seen. Given the slight increase in wheelbase on the sedan version of the new E-Class, an uptick in cargo volume wouldn’t be a shock.

Interestingly, it appears the standard E-Class wagon may not reach the U.S. shores. Mercedes seems to have plans to instead launch the All-Terrain variant, as suggested by recent documents filed with the Environmental Protection Agency. If this assumption holds, American consumers can expect to see the E 450 All-Terrain, equipped with an electrified 3.0-liter inline-six engine capable of producing 375 horsepower.

Following the recent arrival of the E-Class sedan, the wagon version likely isn’t far behind. Industry observers anticipate a debut in the third quarter of the year, with sales likely commencing early the following year.
