2023 Hyundai IONIQ 6 SE Long Range With Standard Range Starting At $42,715

Hyundai has taken the automotive world by storm with the release of the 2023 Ioniq 6, which serves as the inaugural sedan in the Ioniq sub-brand lineup. The EV sedan has been designed with an emphasis on aesthetic appeal, featuring a sleek, flowing roofline, flush door handles, and a small rear spoiler that adds an extra touch of flair.

It’s worth noting that Hyundai has already released pricing for the Ioniq 6, with the base SE Standard Range model starting at $42,715. However, what really sets the Ioniq 6 apart is the impressive array of standard features it offers.

The SE Standard Range variant comes equipped with a battery preheater, 18-inch alloy wheels, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, ambient lighting, and a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster. The infotainment system is equally impressive, featuring a 12.3-inch display with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity, over-the-air updates, and much more.

Safety is also a top priority for Hyundai, and the Ioniq 6 comes with a host of standard safety features. These include adaptive cruise control, blind spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, lane departure steering assist, and lane-centering steering. Drivers can feel secure knowing that the Ioniq 6 has their back.

As far as performance goes, the SE Standard Range variant is powered by a 149-horsepower, rear-mounted electric motor that is paired with a 53-kilowatt-hour battery pack. For those who require more power and range, the SE Long Range model offers a 225-hp, rear-mounted electric motor and a larger 77.4-kWh battery pack, providing up to 361 miles of range.

For even more oomph, the Ioniq 6 is also available with dual electric motors that produce a combined system output of 320 hp. However, range varies depending on the size of the wheels, with the 18-inch wheels providing up to 316 miles of range and the 20-inch wheels offering up to 270 miles of range. Rear-wheel drive is standard, but dual-motor models come with all-wheel drive.

One of the most exciting features of the Ioniq 6 is its 350-kilowatt DC fast-charging capability. According to Hyundai, the EV sedan’s battery can charge from 10%-80% in just 18 minutes, making it one of the fastest-charging electric vehicles on the market.
