Maserati is all revved up to introduce the MC20 Notte, a limited-edition version of its super sports car MC20, designed for both the race track and the open road. This special edition pays tribute to Maserati’s bold spirit that has driven it forward since the brand’s inception and its early racing days.
The MC20, which marks Maserati’s return to its supercar roots, blending sportiness with luxury, now takes a step closer to its racing heritage with the Notte Edition. Limited to just 50 units worldwide, this version draws inspiration from the enigmatic and intense power of darkness. It’s a beast designed to allure and further enhance the performance of its already impressive V6 Nettuno engine.
Taking cues from the mesmerizing world of racing, Maserati’s Fuoriserie team collaborated with Andrea Bertolini, a Maserati reference driver and former GT1 world champion, to craft the MC20 Notte’s bodywork. The exterior transitions from a glossy black finish to a magnetic matte ‘nero essenza,’ capable of gleaming in the dark. This transformation is thanks to Bertolini’s expert touch, which turns key details, such as the Trident emblem, side logos, and the Maserati signature, from silver to matte white gold. This change rekindles memories of the brand’s glorious motorsport history.
The MC20 Notte rides low to the ground with 20-inch matte black birdcage wheels adorned with accents in matte white gold. The brake calipers maintain their black finish. Inside, you’ll find 6-way power sport seats upholstered in black/grey Alcantara with yellow stitching. The unmistakable Trident logo is featured on the headrests, and the Alcantara sport steering wheel boasts carbon fiber inserts. A special metal plate celebrating the MC20 Notte Edition, along with the distinctive ‘UNA DI 50’ (one of 50) signature, is prominently placed between the two headrests.
Klaus Busse, Head of Maserati Design, explained, “Fuoriserie means ‘custom-built’ in Italian, and our Trident’s customization program is all about creating unique masterpieces for our clients. The MC20 Notte celebrates the excitement of racing and the allure of the night, combining top-tier performance and Italian elegance with a hint of nocturnal mystery. It’s the first Fuoriserie limited edition of the MC20, dedicated to super sports car collectors and track enthusiasts.”
To mark the launch of the Maserati MC20 Notte Edition, global brand ambassador and MC20 enthusiast David Beckham, alongside Andrea Bertolini, take center stage in a captivating short film. The film transforms Beckham’s dazzling MC20 into a racing marvel, tearing through the city streets and dominating the racetrack under the cover of night.
After an exclusive sneak peek for Maserati Tridente members, the MC20 Notte is now available worldwide. Future owners will have the exciting opportunity to experience the thrill of driving a Maserati on the track, savoring the unique essence of this exclusive Trident model.
