Ford Everest Raptor Rendered

The inception of the Ford Everest SUV, based on the Ranger pickup truck, can be traced back to the year 2003. Originally, the model was devised for the Asian market, but it has since expanded its reach to a multitude of countries. The third generation of this vehicle, which was launched in March of the previous year, can be found in Southeast Asia, Australia, New Zealand, Africa, and China. Regrettably, the Raptor version, which would undoubtedly be more fitting for the SUV than the pickup truck, has yet to be incorporated into the latest model, despite being integrated into the latter merely a week before the Everest’s debut.

Fortunately, Kolesa has rendered a few photos imagining what the sporty SUV would look like.

Diverging from a standard pickup truck, the Raptor stands out with its unique features, and the Everest displayed in the designs follows suit with its updated aesthetic. The front end has been completely revamped, featuring a novel grille and bumper. A wider plastic lining has been added to the wheel arches, permitting larger wheels with off-road tires. The back bumper has also been modified, sporting black plastic trims at the base, and beneath it, a duo of round exhaust pipes.

Both the Everest and the Ranger rest on a modified T6 frame platform with an extended track and enhanced rear axle kinematics. The Ranger Raptor model boasts a 3.0-liter EcoBoost V6 biturbo gasoline engine that churns out 397 horsepower and 583 Newton-meters of torque. It is accompanied by a 10-speed automatic transmission.
