New 2023 Volkswagen Amarok Pickup Truck New Renders

The first and so far the only Amarok pickup appeared in the Volkswagen range at the end of 2009, it became the production version of the Pickup Concept, demonstrated in 2008. In 2016, the truck received a restyling and is still produced in this form. By modern standards, it can be called a long-liver, but soon it will be replaced by a completely new model, which will have a very bright appearance.

At a minimum, this applies to the front: according to the available sketches of the future pickup truck, it will receive a faceted radiator grille with a wide silver crossbar, into which LED running lights are integrated. Characteristic stampings will appear on the front and rear fenders, and the wheel arches will be made “square”, thanks to which the Amarok will noticeably differ from the side of the new Ford Ranger , with which it shares the platform. In this case, the doors, most likely, they will be the same. As for the rear, it is worth noting here that the lights are slightly changed in shape with the original pattern of LED running lights, a different tailgate and an original bumper.

As already mentioned, the new Amarok will be built on Ford’s T6 platform, which has been upgraded for the new generation Ranger. With it, the new pickup can also share the engine range, in which case it will receive a 2-liter 4-cylinder EcoBlue turbodiesel, which is the base for Ford. Amarok will also be equipped with a V6 TDI engine.

The premiere of new items is expected during this year.
