The new 2023 Ford Focus has debuted in China. For the Chinese market the new Focus gets a 1.5-liter four-cylinder EcoBoost engine making 132 kW 177 hp and up to 270 Nm which is 198 lb-ft of torque in Overboost mode. The engine is connected to a six-speed automatic transmission which is not the same as the European seven-speed dual-clutch automatic. The FWD car accelerates from 0-100 km/h or 0-62 mph in 7.9 seconds.
