New 2023 BMW X5

For the first time, the BMW X5 model appeared in the range of the German brand in 1999, it was then that the first generation E53 was introduced. It also became the first crossover in the history of the brand. Today, the production line is building the fourth generation of the SUV with the factory code G05, its premiere took place in 2018. It is time for a facelift and kolesa.ru has sent some photos that we think the new X5 will look like.

The most notable differences are located in front: the crossover will receive narrower headlights of simpler shape without unnecessary kinks in the lower border, as in the current model. The grille will retain its shape. The bumper is completely new with narrow vertical decorative inserts along the edges and an air intake at the bottom. As for the back, the samples captured by photo spies do not yet have visible differences from the current model, although they are partially hidden by a camouflage film. But we can assume that the restyled X5 will receive new lights and a modified rear bumper.

The interior will also be noticeably updated: it will have the dual-screen iDrive 8 multimedia system which debuted on the iX electric crossover, and is now being installed even on the relatively affordable 2 Series Active Tourer microvan. In the technical part, no significant changes are expected, in all likelihood, the restyled X5 will inherit a wide range of gasoline and diesel engines from the current crossover.

The premiere of the new 2023 BMW X5 most likely will be towards the end of this year.
