The maximum power is 140 kW (187.74 hp) at 9,700 rpm, while the maximum torque is 110.6 pound-feet of torque at 7,000 rpm. The Hayabusa has higher torque values than any other sports bike up to 6,000 rpm and, considering the entire rev range, boasts a more favorable delivery than the second generation. The new Hayabusa surpasses its predecessors in acceleration and in the most common driving situations and meets the Euro 5 emission limits.
