2023 Rolls Royce Spectre Electric Super Coupe Rigorous Testing

Rolls-Royce’s all-electric super coupé, Spectre, has exceeded the marque’s previous testing programmes by completing almost two million kilometres during its third testing phase. The car is currently undergoing extreme hot weather tests in two South African locations to refine every system, hardware item, and software protocol developed over the extensive testing period. The car’s 25,000 separate performance-related functions have been tailored to achieve a quintessentially Rolls-Royce experience, and meticulous attention to detail is being applied to ensure the vehicle meets the marque’s high standards. The testing process uses the principles of ‘marginal gains’ to make individual, incremental adjustments that cumulatively produce significant overall improvements. The testing is characterised as the Rolls-Royce Finishing School and includes tuning anti-roll stabilisation, assessing sealing materials, and perfecting the audio system.
