2021 Porsche 911 Turbo S with Lightweight Package

When it comes to acceleration and speed electric cars seem to be dominating the category. However, there are still some internal combustion cars that are giving them a fair fight. The 2021 Porsche 911 Turbo S is one of those cars, an now you can order one with the lightweight package that will set you back $10,340. which includes fixed carbon-fiber buckets (18-way seats are available at no additional cost), rear-seat delete, less sound deadening material, lightweight glass, and the PASM sport suspension with a 0.4-inch drop. As a result of that weight-loss regimen, this Turbo S tipped the scales at 3566 pounds, a substantial 80 lighter than the standard model.

Car & Driver Tested a 2021 Porsche 911 Turbo S with the Lightweight Package and the results where impressive. With the eight-speed dual-clutch gearbox it launched from 0 to 60 mph in 2.1 seconds. It ran the quarter mile in 9.9 seconds at 139 mph which is in a hypercar territory.

The Lightweight Package is not cheap but for a car that can be daily driven and hit those acceleration numbers it is a bargain.
